Skip breakfast at your own peril
I have to say I am terrible about
eating breakfast.
I’m in about the 1/5 minority who generally skip
breakfast. You would think that, as an Fort Myers, FL MD, I would be more diligent about breakfast, especially after the research findings shown below .
Sixteen (16) years of tracking 27,000 older/middle
aged men found that those who regularly skipped breakfast had a 30% increased risk of a heart attack or dying from heart disease than those who ate
regularly.
Wow! I guess I may have to start eating those Egg McMuffins! Not the best breakfast perhaps, but at least it is breakfast.
